About Forest Moon

I'm Mary, a mom of an almost 10 year old boy, an avid gardener,  and a dabbler in hobbies.  A hippie witch at heart but a Bay Area techie by trade.  I enjoy the practice of turning my small garden into food and medicine, and have long had an interest in living a more natural, self-sustainable type of life.  I have recently acquired some forested acreage which is being transformed into a mountain retreat and homestead and is the inspiration for Forest Moon.  I am ready for the adventure to turn my interests into a totally new way of life.  Please join me on my journey!
